MODEL PRAYER FOR INTERCESSION

(Preparing Your Heart)
Father
Your mercies are new every day Father (Lamentations 3:22-23)! Because of Your great mercy, and the finished work of Jesus, I am confident that your promises are for me (2 Peter 1:4, 2 Corinthians 1:20). You love me completely because of Jesus (John 17:23). Thank you for accepting me through Jesus, forgiving my sins, and granting me the righteous standing of Christ because of Your amazing grace! (2 Corinthians 5:21)
Son
My Lord Jesus, Savior, Friend.  Thank you for saving my soul and restoring my relationship with God my Father. Thank you for living the life I should have lived, and dying in my place for my sins. Thank you for conquering death to prove your power to save all who call upon your name (Romans 10:13). I trust you Jesus as my Savior and Lord. Help me to have your mindset and motives in all my decisions. (1 John 1:9, Philippians 2:5-11). Let your love and wisdom guide my actions and reactions this day.
Holy Spirit
Spirit of God, thank you for coming into my life. Fill me and drive out the impulses and attitudes from my life that do not reflect the character of Jesus (2 Peter 1:4). Fill my heart with the love of God (Romans 5:5). You are my union with the Father and the Son. You are the Spirit of truth in me, the life of God in me, my Counselor, Comforter, Strength, and Guide. Lead me deeper into the love of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 3:18). Bring opportunities for me to share Christ and wisdom to seize them well. Let my speech be seasoned with grace and truth. Bring encouragement into our lives today. Bring abundant provision into C4 ministry. Raise up a full canopy of prayer, encouragement, and provision over us all (John 16:13-15).

Spiritual Warfare
I pray now, in the name and authority of Jesus Christ alone, against any foul or unclean spirit that attempts to come against us. I pray against any work of the enemy or ungodly schemes of people, that they would be repelled by the power of Jesus Christ and bound away from us in His good name. And in Jesus' name, I summon holy angel warriors to camp around us, defend us from every attack, and completely destroy the works of the enemy towards us. I pray for angelic protection over our families, our household, participants and partners in the C4 Network, and those we reach out to, share Christ with, and invite to be a part of the family of God (Ephesians 6:10-11).

Praying for Others

Ask the Lord to bring the blessings, provision, and protection of this prayer over specific names of people, lifting specific needs before Him.

Gratitude

Thank you Father for hearing our prayer. May we be mindful of You throughout this day. Let whatever we do in word or deed, be done in the name of Jesus and to Your glory.
